About Us

Welcome to Ralph’s Rock Diner, the legendary live music venue, bar and diner located about a mile from the DCU Center in downtown Worcester, Massachusetts.

The diner, built in 1930 by the Worcester Lunch Car Company (the first to manufacture diners operating from 1906 to 1957) is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was moved to its current location and connected to a 19th century 2 story brick building that was originally a fire station and so was born “Ralph’s”.

The atmosphere is best described as eclectic. Antiques and neon adorn the walls and ceilings, and hand painted murals are everywhere, a sort of curated carnival of curiosities. The diverse live entertainment is drawn from local, national and international artists and has featured many famous performers. Bi-monthly Metal Thursdays have been a staple since 2006, while the Dirty Gerund Poetry Show has been going strong every Monday since 2009. Ralph’s also projects movies and video games on the outside patio, hosts vintage auto and motorcycle shows as well as private parties.

If you’re hungry, the famous “Ralph’s Burger” could be the best you’ll ever have. We also offer veggie burgers, hot dogs, and our award-winning chili, all served until 12:30 am every night of the week.
